TAG-S-TORY :37

A dream of driving a heavy cargo truck, loaded with forty-feet container, once in a life, was cherished by him for too long. By the grace of God, that opportunity came. With a 20,000 kg container, on the triaxal chassis, he started the cargo truck so simply and got surprised to see how easy it was. Suddenly he felt elephants like power in him. So in utter happiness, he pushed down the accelerator, and started enjoying the fun of driving on the smooth express highway, going towards the dense forest. Too quickly several kilometers fell behind. Before the dense jungle begun, he crossed a small bridge so joyfully. On the zigzag road, he continued driving wildly and there he felt a presence of white figure around him, in the full moonlight, enjoying the night beauty of the nature. While taking another sharp turn, he saw the milky reflection of the full moon in the river basin... maddening him for deep hug. When the alarm rang at four, in the early morning, he realised that the writing of his dream-story was too complete.

आयुष्यात एकदा तरी चाळीस फूटी कंटेनर लादलेला कार्गो ट्रक चालवायचा, हे खास स्वप्न त्याने मनात खूप दिवसांपासून बाळगले होते. दैवकृपेने ती संधी चालून आली. २०००० किलो वजनाचे कंटेनर ट्रायॅक्सल चॅसीसवर लादून त्याने तो कार्गो ट्र‌‌‌क सुरू केला. सर्व  काही सहजतेने घडत असल्याने त्याला आश्चर्य वाटले. अंगात हत्तींचे बळ संचारले सारखे वाटले व आनंदाने वेग वाढवला. घनदाट जंगलाच्या दिशेने जाणाऱ्या गुळगुळीत एक्स्प्रेस हायवेवरून ड्रायव्हिंगची मजा तो मनमुराद लूटत होता. कित्येक किलोमीटर झटपट वेगाने मागे पडत गेले. घनदाट जंगल सुरू होण्यापूर्वीचा छोटासा पुल त्याने लीलया ओलांडला आणि नागमोडी रस्त्याने जाताना पौर्णिमेच्या रात्री ट्रकच्या केबिन मध्ये शेजारी धूसर पाढं-या आकृतीचा त्याला आभास  झाला. चंद्रप्रकाशात स्वच्छंद ड्रायव्हिंग करताना आजुबाजुच्या  रात्रीच्या निसर्ग सौंदर्याला कुर्निसात करीत पुढे पुढे जात होता. स्वप्नपुर्ती समोर आकृतीची भिती क्षुल्लक ठरली होती, आणि  तेव्हाच पुलावरून नदीपात्रात दिसणारे पुर्ण चंद्राचे दुधाळ प्रतिबिंब त्याला आलिंगनासाठी खुणावत होते. अचानक पहाटे चारचा गजर वाजला अन्  लक्षात आले की त्याची स्वप्न-कथा पुर्ण झाली होती.
