हमरस्त्याच्या दुतर्फा अथांग गडद हिरवाई पाहून नवथर तरुण मनं उत्फूल्लित झाली. दोघांनी निसर्ग नजराणा उघड्या डोळ्यांनी मनसोक्त लुटला. बे-भान झालेली प्रेमधुंद ......ती आणि तो..... निखळ आनंद घेत घेत देवडोंगराच्या पायथ्याजवळ आले. समोरच प्रफुल्लित रंगांच्या बोगनवेलींची बहारदार कमान... विवाहवेलीवर उमललेल्या 'नव'लाईचे यथोचित स्वागत करीत होती. असंख्य दगडी पाय-या चढताना... हातात हात घालून फुलणारी... आपआपली मुखकमले न्याहाळत, प्रथमच ती दोघे मंदिरात प्रवेशली. गर्भगृहाच्या घुमटावरील रंगीत नक्षीकाम पाहताना उभयता थक्क झाले. कुलदेवतेचे दर्शन घेऊन देवडोंगरावरुन दूर क्षितीजापर्यंतचा रम्य निसर्ग नजारा पाहिला. ...... पंचवीस वर्षांपूर्वी...... मंदिराभोवती प्रदक्षिणा करताना तिची मुलायम पाऊले पिवळ्याधमक हळदीने अशीच तेजोमय झाली होती. आज तीच दमदार.. उज्वल.. तेजस.. सोनेरी.. चमक त्यांच्या चेहऱ्यावर झळकली.... आणि प्रसन्नपणे खट्याळ वा-याची झुळूक... त्याच्या डायरीची पानं हळूवारपणे पुढे उलटवत होती.

Viewing the unbounded dense greenary... on the limpid sides of highway, the young couple was overjoyed. They engrossed in the bestowal of nature with mysterious eyes. She and he rejoiced in the virtuous love. Soon they came at the foot of God's mountain. They were welcomed by a live bright arch of tantalising red, purple, white  colored bougainvillea which squandered the happiness abundantly. Looking at eachother's coy faces.., and being hand in hand while climbing the innumerous stone steps, both entered in the old temple. They were amazed.. seeing the artistic carvings in the huge dome of the sanctum sanctorum. After bowing before the deity, they sighted the beautiful nature from the  eye-flickering height of the God mountain beyond the horizon. Twenty-five years ago while making rounds... her soft feet were bedazzled in the same...fresh yellow turmeric touch. Even today, that radiant, bright, golden shine too glowed apprantly on his face as the pages of his diary were swiftly turned on by the breeze of naughty air repeatedly.
